Upton’s statement on Rural Development Announcement in Vicksburg, MI
U.S. Rep. Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, today released the following statement after the United States Department of Agriculture announced an $8.4 million Rural Development investment for the Village of Vicksburg.
“This new loan will directly benefit the families of Vicksburg and I’m glad to see this project move forward,” Upton said. “This project will significantly improve the capacity, reliability and performance of the Village of Vicksburg's wastewater collection and treatment system, which is just so important these days as we work to improve infrastructure in our state and around the country.”
The USDA Rural Development loan will be used to construct and replace interceptor pipes, replace and repair pump and lift stations, and upside the force main. For more information, click here.
