With the beginning of the Second Session of the 112th Congress underway, the near-perfect voting record held by Congressman Fred Upton (R-St. Joseph) continues, having not missed a single vote in 2010 or 2011 – 664 and 948 votes, respectively. Upton was one of only 12 Members of the House of Representatives to not miss a single vote last year.
“As we work to help create jobs and reduce our national debt, I’m fighting hard to make sure the people of southwest Michigan have a strong voice at the table,” said Upton. “My responsibility to stand up for Michigan families and job creators is one that I have never taken lightly. When I am not working here at home in Michigan, I have always made it a priority to be present and well-informed when the important votes need to be cast.”
